Things to do on Flinders Island

Fishing - 
             Flinders Island is a fisherman's paradise.  Fish from the wharf, beach, rocks, or charter a boat.  Common species of fish caught are, King
             fish, Australian salmon, Trevally, Flathead, Gummy shark, and Calamari.

Bird watching - 
              Flinders Island has a vast variety of birds that are able to be observed in their natural environment.

Bush walking - 
              The bush walking on Flinders Island can be quite spectacular.  Walk to the top of Mount Strzleckie for some magnificent views. Beach 
              comb the island's foreshore and find treasures regularly washed up by the sea. Explore the endless tracks, coves and bays.   

Snorkel or dive - 
              There are many reefs close to the shoreline holding a variety of fish that can be observed in the clear seawater.  Grab a Fishing Licence
              for a small fee and dive for crayfish and abalone.

Fossick for Killicrankie diamonds -
              Killicrankie is famous for its Killicrankie Diamonds (A Topaz gemstone).  

The Furneaux Museum -
               A not to be missed attraction with many exhibits of a bygone era.
